March 8 is recognized as International Women's Day. The theme this year was "Women in Suits and Uniform". We invited Reverend Beatrice Hope and Hilda Broomfield Letemplier to be our guest speakers; Reverend Hope is the first female Moravian Minister from Labrador's North Coast and Mrs. Letemplier is the President and Chief Financial Officer of Pressure Pipe Steel Fabrication Limited.

MSWC would like to send out a BIG thank you to everyone who donated socks at the Labrador Winter Games "Sock it to 'em" concert! Athletes, coaches and guests donated over 420 pairs of socks!!! The socks will be shared between a few organizations. Pictured below is Fiona Andersen as she donates to the Women's Centre. Thank you Fiona!!!
